After reading all these comments, I now feel like a piece of old, useless shit because I don't have a kid at 33. I'm going to go cry now forever until I see my therapist in a week and a half. It's really fucked up, guys, to be talking about how people are too old even at age 30. Look, I don't really have a choice

I just have issues with the idea of it being selfish. I mean, wanting a child to fill a void in your own life or other reasons like that may be, but I'd think younger people do it for the same type of reason.

YES!!!!!!!! I love you. This has been my mantra for a long time now and I often write about it on FB when someone I admire (like Jon Stewart) makes a diabetes joke. My friends are probably sick of it, but I bet they think twice about it. I know there are a couple of them that have made similar jokes and I've called it

That's cool, I agree.

Ok, I agree with you. I think most people understand that what I meant was that it's horrifying that people are making the issue about themselves by turning it into a selfie (i.e. what this whole article was about). Also as in the article above, I agree that it's better than doing nothing, but that doesn't mean it's

There's also that one with Taraji P. Henson where the kid's dad is Korean and kidnaps him to Korea. A bit different but a similar idea of a child being taken.

For some reason, the hashtags #sextrafficking and #humantraffickin (sic) seem ridiculous. It's one thing to be able to look up info on those topics with one simple click, but I don't know. It just appears odd. I hate hashtags though. Also, that "Wake Up to Syria" thing is horrifying.

Time to pull out my go-to statement for when something is gross:

Beat me to it!

There is a Lifetime movie like that. I thought of it when I read this. Now if I can only remember what it's called. Oh, here it is:

I feel like another way to distinguish it as fake is the "apart". Surely they have a copy editor or something. Plus, it seems like Twitter has commas in their fav/RT numbers, but that's less noticeable.

I called it as a common Halloween costume the other day. You heard it here first!

Have you seen the show "Outnumbered"? There's a girl in that who I was reminded of. Always saying hilarious stuff.

Jesus, I didn't know that was something people did. I'm glad I didn't know.

ASSHOLE.

Cool hat! Ear flaps are the best. I have a knitted hat that has ear flaps and an under-chin tie and I don't know how I ever lived without it.

It's actually sort of unbelievable how warm they are!

I will try it! Thanks!

Nice tips! I'll have to look for socks next time I go to Costco with my dad.
