Wait, there was a Shank 2? How did I not know this.

I hope that she’s able to get out of this situation safely!

Man, threatening dogs is next level evil.

Like NFTs.

I think its less people want them and more this fucked up “collector” economy where this sorta weird shit sometimes blows up and gets worth insane amounts of money. Like those weird bear statues, early funco pops, etc.

why is it that whenever we talk about cloud gaming mentioned as an option for gaming it is ALWAYS seen as something hailed down by corporations as the ONLY way to enjoy games?

I still question this assertion that there’s some mass believe that “service-based cloud computing is the future of gaming” that needs to be pushed back on, but putting that aside, I don’t see how you can argue the entire idea is technically unfeasible.

Maybe it’s greedy, but it’s definitely the future and not dumb. The way Google did it is dumb, because they don’t have any first party library--Stadia makes no sense compared to Xbox X Cloud for example. But once latency is resolved (and it will be for many in the next decade) it becomes a very viable way to play

The journey to electrified vehicles is going to be full of “niche” products.  Its going to be baby steps for a while.  And it will take a while.  Thats why timelines are in decades, not years.

I add this to the comments of every Vita article, but lacking the triggers and clickable joysticks also made it much harder to port most modern games.

The DS/3DS would have been enough of a behemoth to try and dethrone, but that own-goal with the memory cards was typical Sony format dumbfuckery.

It was a massive failure because of Sony’s incredibly boneheaded attempts to force people to buy exclusive storage media at 5-10x the rate of the same amount on an SD card. The systems came with very little storage, and Sony really wanted people to pay out the ass for those memory cards. When people balked at paying

It was a massive flop, until five years later when Nintendo did all of those same things with one important difference: it released the Switch alongside Breath of the Wild.

Don’t do this and stop advertising this, Lifehacker. By using this exploit you’re only encouraging publishers to stop supporting regional pricing and hurting people from developing countries (like mine) that can’t pay the standard US price.

Sony saw the great response to changing Peter Parker in the Spider-Man remaster so they did the same here

That particular Hank Williams song has been used to promote the game in the past. You can find it in the Gamescom 2012 promo trailer for the first LOTU game.

Gustavo Santaolalla is credited for the TV show on IMDB, so he, or at least his music, are going to be used in the show in some capacity.

I feel like this show is just gonna be another Action series— grizzled old man takes precocious young girl on a death-defying mission where they learn to share their feelings along the way.

its not about not knowing, its about they shouldnt be fucking babysitters no matter what time of year, or year in general. just because people used to let their kids wander around doesnt mean its magically less stupid or wrong to do so.

I’ve been on the receiving end of a similar thing, it is a bummer.

Maybe I’m just getting old and soft, but my mind went to all the devs and team members who actually probably worked very hard on this game and were likely to some degree mismanaged. Hopefully they work on enough not to have this kind of thing affect them too much, but I’m sure it can’t be great for morale.
