I think they are finally following econ 101 and pricing these cards accordingly. Scalpers can only exist when a products MSRP is well below actual market value so these higher prices will make them actually available.

I miss Kirk Hamilton the most.
Silence racist clown.
Until I see the end product, I’m assuming single player content will essentially be the GTA online tutorial.
I never wrote anything on Mike’s tribute because I felt anything would be inadequate; the best comment was that his writing and enthusiasm was so genuine it made topics that weren’t interesting interesting (IDGAF about food but would eagerly read every Snacktaku).
I’d kill for a Skies remaster. I'd probably at least maim for a port.
This is an odd ask, but what about games for folks who like the social aspect of Stardew? I wish there were more games that let you go out and be an adventurer and come home to your wife and kid and cozy house. I’ve already done Stardew to death and finished Rune Factory 5.
1 whole month? Big deal.
What a lovely article. The screenshot from a Link to the Past got me teary-eyed, I gotta play that game again.
Destroy All Humans! 2, Immortality, Tinykin, TMNT: Cowabunga Collection, F1 Manager 2022, The Last of Us: Part 1.
So much for getting game news here.
Uh... a VIDEO for The Week in Games? Big big nope. Just give us a list.
They also took away the fighting styles, Cluckin bell was reduced to nothing more than a factory of workers(the drive thrus were removed).
I’m unclear why they keep making Gwent games that change how Gwent fundamentally works in The Witcher 3. Like, is there some reason why just keeping the exact same format and game rules won’t work?
Its pretty fun and I’m not very far into it but it seems they really made the actual matches worse. No longer best of 3 so no strategy in how you manage cards. Only 2 rows and basically no row status effects. And it gets super annoying when the rogue-like kicks in and the game basically forces you to lose.
A very aggressive stance given that the spirit of that quote still stands. I understand sort of your context of old game releases not being patched, specially older Nintendo. The actual point is that in the mind of gamers/ game media when a bad game releases it’s viewed as a bad game and that reputation is hard to…
What a weird example to pick...Mario Odyssey was fantastic from day one and its patches added features rather than fixed bugs. It’s not like it was busted like the Witcher 3 at release and took months to patch up.
“All I’ve ever wanted was another person’s touch.”
Agreed. When I first realized you could climb on a truck to break into the airport and start flying way before the mission that called for it, I thought “I am the Gaming God and this game is Heaven”.
