I have the faintest hope that Nintendo actually wants to replace the 3ds with the Switch in the long run and all the 3ds developers will transfer (not saying switch! ... damn it) to the switch which would definitely have some great potential for the console.

You would think that after failing horribly with the Wii U they would be more upfront about explaining their consoles efficiently. But apparently it wouldn’t be Nintendo if they didn’t try to sabotage themselves.

Eh, i’m on the opposite side of the spectrum. I wish they would just drop Miis altogether and leave that shit behind. The Switch seems a bit unfocused. Like they didn’t know what to do with it. It’s trying to be a home console and a portable but not really achieving anything one way or the other. Plus they’re still

and the Jet Pack! I’ll never forget just hovering about 50 feet in the air, picking people off, gettng some stars, and just bouncing.

I think San Andreas is the best because I simply had the most fun with it. I have the most fond memories of it. It was the first game where “dicking around” was a perfectly acceptable way to spend hours - personally, I’d grab a plane and take off from the desert strip and fly over Mount Chiliad, then parachute to the

Yo but check this out

IV was a chore for me for the same reasons. I liked the idea of a ‘fish out of water’ immigrant story. But it was so dull. The revenge missions felt like a wild goose chase, and any other mission felt like pointless filler. Having millions in the ‘bank’ and still hear the main characters complain about being poor took

This, GTA IV is the worst just backside driving felt terrible, moving the character was not fun, and the shooting mechanics were bad as well. Seriously all the parts that made it a game were just bad. Oh, also having people call you all the time sucked, the mini games were bad and just tacked on, it is easily the

The weird thing about San Andreas was that I had the most fun with it when I wasn’t playing it the way it was intended. When it came out, we were still in the era of gaming urban myths and I remember exploring the woods with my friends searching for Bigfoot, ghost cars and all that other stuff. We had a lot of fun

I can’t really argue with the list except for the fact that GTA4 is what lost my interest and it had nothing to do with the tone. It was the movement. It just feels so off, like instead of just pivoting and moving left my character has to walk this wide arc.

San Andreas was the one I had the most fun playing and the game that I immediately think about if someone says “Grand Theft”

You should be salty that all your digital games were lost with the hardware instead of maintained on a central account at Nintendo. None of my PS, XB, or PC games are tied to hardware, why is Nintendo setup that way. I hope that changes on switch and has changed on Wii U.

I’m inclined to agree. I have what is typically a very anti-piracy attitude, but this is one of those cases where I find it ridiculous. It’s one thing to expect me to pay for a virtual console port of a game I already own on cartridge. There’s no easy way to prove it and the jump to completely different modern tech

I have no faith that Nintendo will show goodwill on this front...which is exactly why I have no qualms whatsoever of using a rather large library of ROM files to play to my heart’s content.

This is a good point. I lost my original Wii a long time ago, and my gf’s doesn’t have the same VC games on it, but if I hadn’t, I’d probably be pretty salty I can’t transfer over my best games (currently). Anyone planning to grab a Switch should probably hold off on non-Switch VC purchases for the moment (especially

Yeah, but EA is going to give us a version of FIFA based on older editions and then blame consumers for not buying it.

Mod with airships and discoveries?

It’s like the first GTA.

I’ll only believe it’s a Hitchhiker’s Guide reference if there was a bowl of petunias somewhere nearby.

If I recall something that bob ross said. “Talent is a pursued interest.” If you wish you had it, just do it.
