This CEO was not successful at delivering to shareholders (likely you and me as well via funds). The stock was above $30 in 2021 and is now at $2.11. That’s not good.

The term is clearly derogatory because it focuses on the “walking” which clearly isn’t what these games are about. As you say yourself they are about the experience. Walking isn’t the focus when playing one of those games, just as turning pages isn’t the focus when reading a book.
You are the one who came out to criticize what other people might enjoy in games:
That’s like calling a book a “page turning game”. We do a lot of things when we play a game outside of interacting with the world. We listen to the music, enjoy the story, take in the visuals, etc. All these things are crucial to the game experience.
Wow, just signed in to voice that The Pete Murray Darling Basin Authority represents much of what’s wrong with large parts of gamer culture these days. What a arrogant POS!
It’s not simulating walking though. I don’t know about you, but when I go for a walk, I don’t have a narrator following me and there isn’t a bunch of stuff going on around me that nobody would believe happened when I return home.
The only real waling simulator is QWOP.
Parent you children, lady!
Making money off filming yourself reacting to war footage => reprehensible
Can we just get more games that allow us to do some menial progression tasks in modern Japan, hang out with friends and go on dates with the goth doctor? I honestly don’t need the fighting and dungeons.
I think this has gotten a little better. No more crafting stats helps.
Fixed an issue where it was possible to easily obtain Tier 5 Skill Shards early in the game. Their prices have also been adjusted.
It was very much worth playing already at 1.5. I had a blast with my first playthrough which was ~130 hours and am on my 2nd playthrough to experience everything thats’s new. 2.0 changed a lot and made it even more fun.
Same on PS5. With 2.0 it crashes every 2-3 hours.
- Added the possibility to mark vehicles as Favorites in the Call Vehicle menu.
IMO, that’s exactly the kind of stuff that gets Nintendo into hot water. One thing that’s great about the Switch is that it’s relatively easy to port games to it. A clamshell design with two screens would mean additional work to address the system properly. That was ok on a handheld where there wasn’t really any…
Well, we don’t know yet what they are gonna announce and how. Still plenty of room for bad decision. Maybe Nintendo won’t be able to control themselves and feels the need to change a winning formula just for the sake of it. I think we all expect an incremental improvement on the Switch. However, maybe they are gonna…
If you look at the power consumption of Apple computers with M1 or M2 CPUs it’s incredible. Similarly, look at the Switch. Miniaturization really has been incredible. Even the graphics on the M1 aren’t half bad an Apple doesn’t really care about graphics or gaming. It’s really a choice manufacturers have between size,…
We might see a reduction again if future consoles switch to ARM.
I’d love this to be hooked up to an emulator and play the midi music in old games through the organ while you are playing. I’d be surprised if this wasn’t possible. But while I know a lot about computers, I know almost nothing about audio, so who knows...
My first playthrough of CP2077 was 130 hours. I am on my second one now with 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. I think I am like 30% in. After that it’s time for Baldur’s Gate 3. So probably nothing new till ~March
