I love farming games with dating. Unfortunately, the last one that checked all the boxes for me was Rune Factory 4. Stardew Valley had dating, but the character art style was totally unattractive. Silent Hope has chibi characters which is just creepy pedo shit if mixed with dating.

I am not sure what the selling point of this is. It’s extremely slow and doesn’t even walk. Looking at Boston Dynamics, walking should be in the cards by now. Not sure if material science maybe is what’s holding us back from that?

Honestly, this article makes me think that every article being filled with photos of that avatar is another sign of the author having a mental health crisis and trying further to live in a fictional reality. Made me go from mildly annoyed to sad and concerned.

Barely a real combo either. Just the same moves over and over.

I listen to the soundtrack all the time. I think a lot of Cyberpunk hate comes from people who simply don’t like the setting and aesthetic. Sometimes Witcher 3 gets brought up for it’s interesting quests. However, few of them resonated with me, the most noteable exception being the Bloody Baron. However, that’s likely

You very rarely see the avatar in the game. It could be the best looking avatar ever created, it’s the least informative thing to show, since it will look different for everyone. Just use screenshots of something everyone will see.

So tired of most screenshots being of the author’s avatar that always looks the same in every game. Let’s see some screenshots of stuff in the game world that’s the same for everyone, rather than narcissistic recreation of the author.

So far my new playthrough on hard is significantly easier than my first playthrough. Might have to do with me just being more familiar with the game. Previously Konpeki Plaza felt like a challenge and I had to employ some stealth. This time everyone quickly dies from Contagion and Overheat. I think previously I didn’t

Kinda. For me it sometimes works the other way around where I will keep banging my head against the wall for the challenge. I’ve spent 30min+ trying to fight some random gang early in the original game and it’s one of the things I remember the most, even though there was minimal reward. It’s like an embedded Dark

It sucks even harder because you get wet and cold. There is a reason we don’t have treasury hunts for kids where they need to dive in a random lake or even a swimming pool.

CDPR decided to add random enemies to the fight when it really should have just been 1v1

They do say that they rebalanced the boss fights. How hard that fight was also might depend on your build. I was heavily focused on quickhacks which made this fight, and most boss fights, a bit of a challenge.

Honestly, swimming sucks in every game. It’s always unpleasant because it’s slow and there is likely a stamina bar etc. Often controls suck, especially if you can dive as well.

All NPCs now scale to your level. Enemy difficulty is no longer dependent on what area of Night City you’re in.

It’s very strange to me that screenshots of the customizable main character are also the main screenshot of several of the articles. It seems like you’d want to use a screenshot of something that everyone will experience and not of a custom character shaped by the author after themselves. Honestly, if I was the author

Yeah, I too wish more of our politicians literally had their brains altered by an anonymous AI.

It’s ironic that a game about the vice grip of capitalism was so beholden to it that it launched the way it did three years ago

I think I agree with both of you which is why I think this remaster is a mistake. It will appeal to almost nobody.

While I agree that the combat was bad, I think the potential presence of enemies added to the suspense. It’s IMO less about actually fighting enemies, but knowing that you might have to any second. It’s important for the environment to feel hostile and not like a cozy escape room.

You really cannot compare ANY mobile device to a huge console. It would be fairer to compare the Switch to the SteamDeck or the Asus ROG Ally. Console vs. handheld comparison to complain about handheld being too slow makes no sense.
