Or they could cancel this multiplayer thing and invest in a new single-player IP instead...
Badprenup explained it pretty well. If you want to learn more, this is a pretty good intro: https://web.mit.edu/6.005/www/fa14/classes/17-concurrency/
Yeah. “Live Games” can fuck right off!
I don’t recall how much of a difference this made in the 2018 installment, but in Ragnarok some of the different pieces of equipment encourage very different play styles.
I am keeping my game unpatched till I got 100k rupees. That said, no idea where the “capitalism” criticism comes from. The game doesn’t have micro transactions, so it’s not like Nintendo benefits from the tight economy. In fact, patching anything does cost Nintendo money. Not patching this would have been cheaper.…
It seems like most of these issues are concurrency bugs that are limited to fairly isolated parts of the system. While race conditions are hard to find and avoid, once you found and understand them, the interventions are usually not big. Source: I work on a distributed data system with concurrency everywhere.
Thank you! I usually avoid watching videos, so this is very helpful.
Mine is still unpatched. How many rupees do I need to buy all the armor and upgrades and any other expensive stuff I’ll want? Right now I have about 60k.
You still need to make a shelter so that the rain doesn’t extinguish the fire. That’s still an annoying interruption, especially when in the middle of something. Is there a more convenient way I don’t know about.
3D foam and anime titties > 2D paint and squids
do you mean the Pachinko company?
All bad news except for the new IP funding. Who are these people playing service games and buying micro transactions? I struggle standing this world any longer! Work sucks, planet is overheating, travel has been ruined for years now and now even my favorite comfort source is under attack.
I must be hilariously out of touch. I have absolutely no idea WTF Young Sheldon or Yellowstone is and have never even heard of it, but can play the Succession theme on cello.
“If it leads to products nobody likes, it won’t fined continued use, either because Blizzard drops it or because Blizzard will be gone.”
The low-effort Luddite sentiment on here is getting really tired. If a tool makes artists more productive, that’s great for everyone. If it leads to products nobody likes, it won’t fined continued use, either because Blizzard drops it or because Blizzard will be gone. The possibility that something new could be good…
I’ve lost some of the items that I only had one of when doing this trick repeatedly during the same fall.
You sound like the kind of person who uses some of their potions in RPGs instead of saving all of them for when you REALLY need them (never).
What’s actually faster? The wing or the glider?
Thanks, I finally found this. Just being able to carry 3 more weapons is already making a noticeable difference. It feels almost though like I have to upgrade to make the game more fun for me which is odd.
