Thanks for calling out what the PS5 actually supports. I’m surprised they didn’t go with full 20gb/s or even 40gb/s given people will connect hard drives. USB Type C should support that.

It probably drives me crazy because my job is to coordinate engineers around things like version compatibility and make sure messaging to enterprise customers is spot on.

Why does everyone keep calling the games backward compatible? The games are forward compatible. The console(!) is backward compatible with these games.

Would the series be better off without the modern day story? I’ve only played brotherhood and in that game the modern day story mostly felt like interruptions to now follow a SciFi b-movie that I’m starting in the middle. I’m kinda glad this happened. Ghost of Tsushima felt allot like a HZD mod to me. I really liked HZD and would have bought this new installment, but I'm worried that I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much playing it so close to a game with so similar mechanics

Actually total compensation has gone up, but your point stands since at the lower end all compensation increases have been eaten up by increased cost of healthcare and you don't even see the increase on your paycheck because of that

Alien Isolation was so bad, I had to stop about an hour in. I had only encountered the alien in a cutscenes. Sneaking around in the dark and listening while not being able to be certain if I was hearing the alien between engine noises was too much.

Well it’s the same website that’s talking about “backwards compatibility” of released games for unreleased consols instead. of correctly saying that the game well be forward compatible and the console backwards compatible.
