Not that I’m aware of, but I don’t follow him closely either.
Not that I’m aware of, but I don’t follow him closely either.
No worries!
I don’t think it does, really. Female cats don’t seem to be unwilling participants in sex at all, they definitely have an itch that needs scratching, as it were. But it still clearly hurts them.
He’s got a point of some kind buried in whatever he was originally saying, I’m sure. But come on, man, think before you…
I think you’re more or less right, which is why I don’t hate the guy. But he has a habit of saying really dumb shit sometimes, that he should know better about. However so do I, so I’ll cut him some slack.
Well, speaking as someone who is fairly neutral with a positive slant on NDGT, but is very pro science, I think the problem is that he makes a lot of factual claims that are false. And some of them are just him being intellectually lazy, and succumbing to his own prejudices. Like, say, the story of Bruno in Cosmos…
Which "adjuvents" do they put in that are dangerous? What, specifically, are the dangers? When was the last time this actually happened?
The title would suggest that he did, in fact, like the movie.
Most boors do.
Might I suggest calming down slightly? You're making a lot of good points, but you're also being a dick.
You have to tolerate a certain amount of BS from him. I'm not a big fan for that reason, but I generally like the fact that he's doing what he's doing, I just wish he spent a leeetle longer fact checking.
Yeah… that's not an English sentence.
"Interesting idea of scientific observation. Am I listening to women, or the yelps of women fucking at night or what? The fuck is he talking about?"
I’m also an actual, working scientist, well not working right now as I am procrastinating from finishing my experimental code in order to write this very message. Preach on, brother/sister, preach on. I also like that dude objects to Tyson’s history on the (true) grounds that it is inaccurate. BUT SURELY THAT RUINS…
….no? There are no technologies that China, Japan, and Korea won't be able to get their hands on. Maybe some patented medical stuff? But the days of the knowledge or technology gap are over. And the space agency will never, and should never, employ more than a tiny fraction of the workforce.
OK, I mean… Outlander? Downton Abbey? Inside Amy Schumer? Veep?
More serious counterpoint…
Counterpoint: no.
I think there are legitimate criticisms of Tyson, and several of them are in that rant. But that is fucking terrible.
I saw the first movie for free. I was a fan of Spawn at the time. I felt ripped off.
Eh, McFarlane wasn't that pouch-obsessed.
