Sometimes Tumblr denounces stuff for the right reasons?

Also, I don’t know if you’re a comics fan, but Cerebus is fucking brilliant, well past the clear onset of the misogynistic fugue state. I’d say actually until about issue 250 (can’t remember off the top of my head) it’s very, very worthwhile. His brilliance is part of what makes him so interesting and so tragic.

He’s said that he was diagnosed, many years ago, as partially schizophrenic. He also (in the same issue I believe) described the difficulty he has in separating “real” reality from the world of Cerebus, although that is not that far removed from what authors often say about their works, so dunno what to make of that

Why?

I have. It's a harsh assessment, but mostly a fair one, although I think one should be careful about ascribing everything to Sim being mentally ill rather than just Sim being an asshole. But… it seems pretty clear that he is mentally ill, and "misogynistic fugue state" seems to describe the past 15 years of Sim's

Cults don't need to be banned. But I do agree that they (and all other cults/religions) need to lose their tax exempt status.

Someone else here will give you a much better answer, I haven’t played in almost 2 years. Uh… that was a useless answer, wasn’t it? Sorry, no brain today.

Yeah, honestly, everyone getting up in arms about Paramount getting upset with fans making a movie and selling it… do you not understand why that's wrong?

Well Freebird certainly gets played on classic rock stations, beyond that… I haven’t heard much.

Oh right, I guess Endless Space is their 4x, which I’ve actually played until it became hopelessly buggy on my old laptop. Haven’t started Legend yet, though looking forward to it.

Uh… yeah, it's just been more Binding of Isaac. The summary of shame and glory: 436 hours, 74% complete. I just beat Mega Satan with Cain, working on getting Boss Rush, Blue Womb, and Mega Satan with everyone now. Which… takes a while, but I'm knocking one or two off every day or two, so some time in early 2017 or

All I ever do on my (slightly newer) Mac is play The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth + Afterbirth, but there's a ton of decent games available. In terms of stuff other people haven't mentioned… You might consider some Paradox games, Stellaris is supposed to be an amazing 4x if you're into Civilization-style things, and Crusa

They both are. As is pretty much every other game mentioned in this thread, and all should run fine on @wolfmanjew:disqus's computer, oddly enough.

They were a great band. Their overplayed songs are great.

He won't answer unless you spell his name right.

You could also listen to a lot of really good jazz.

And he can only do it once and then he dies.

I dunno, watching something like Valhalla Rising it's pretty obvious there's a very strong intellectual component to it - not really sure what it is, to be honest, but there's clearly a lot of thought there.

But, you know, competent.

You should know who Killer Mike is because Killer Mike.
