I’ve been struggling with a lot of health issues for a long time. I developed life-altering problems at the age of 25, and spiraled into depression and anxiety and insomnia, but I’ve never been diagnosed with something sufficient to allow for financial assistance.

From their license: “You can use, modify and redistribute this code freely as long as you don’t do so commercially.”

Faithfully recreating machine code to make emulators so good that even major corporations want to use it, in their spare time, and making it completely free for everybody to use.. yeah man what monsters

Emulator developers don’t rely on people using their software because they’re not making money off it. What are you even talking about?

For the last time, there’s been multiple US court cases, and while companies would absolutely LOVE for emulation to be illegal so they could talk like you, it isn’t. Emulators are totally legal. Pirating ROMs isn't and that's definitely spurred on by emulation, but emulators are totally legal.

Uh... you know emulators are legal right? Like there’s been multiple legal cases about it.

It’s not heat related. This crash often happens when simply closing the game, and can even happen if you open it and immediately close it. There’s no time for an overheat in that scenario.

The fact is, most large companies exceeding 1000 employees have many redundant and unnecessary positions. I work at a privately owned corporate firm. I was part of a 30-person large software development company that was sold to a 600 person company. The integration was laughable.

Cant use this argument because it wasnt the same people that said or made those statements.. Seems like your general knowledge on this subject is beyond flawed

So the two streamers getting the big bucks surprisingly like the scheme that gets them even more dollary-doos...

I agree, we should be calling it what it really is, a Bioware killer.

But there’s a problem. It’s 2018 and I don’t need or particularly want media to humanize Nazis. I acknowledge that history is complex, and I’m glad that Battlefield treats it that way. But The Last Tiger’s extraordinary production value is hell-bent on telling the tale of “the Good German” while glossing over the

It’s easy to mistake his videos as “dry”, when the correct word should be “calm”. I subscribed to his channel over a year ago, and the reason I looked forward to his weekly entries was the videos were super chill.

“Hey, you guys made an MMO based on one of IPs, right? How’d those first couple of weeks go and how can we avoid it?

Jason, I love the article but I think there’s something that is somewhat missed in all this discussion.

Or maybe journalists could stop instantly coming to the defense of publisher and developers because they have personal relationships with them and insult the intelligence of gamers in the process? Devs use “engine” for a shorthand for their technology and so do gamers and the bottom line is that yes devs get lazy and

It’s not serious, it’s idiocracy.

Activision-Blizzard can make as many mobile games as they whish but if you treat your customers like idiots because of greed, they will hit you back.

Ctrl-K does kind of have a point here. This sounds like a ‘leak’ that Blizzard is wanting to get out to try and salvage the situation. Just mentioning D4 would have gotten a much better response than this. They could have even just shown a logo and fans would have raged in a good way. Even if the logo wasn’t final.

Telling people to ‘fuck off’ over assumed slights isn’t something that would make them (or any other crowd) less angry. But, yes. Congratulations on being able to both poke at The Man and those filthy dissenters who don’t roll over to everything you say; nothing can touch you.
