they also have a history of claiming in reveals/viDocs that maybe they’ve done too much, and hilariously failing to deliver even to the base minimum requirement.

The Disappointment

8GB is plenty for the consoles at what they’re doing, I’m sporting 8 on my desktop which even lets me do things like VR.

even EA have stated to their investors that the cost of making games has fallen steadily over the past years. so the idea that “games are going to get more expensive” is not at all supported by the notion that companies need more money to cover production costs. it’s simple greed.

I wouldn’t mind all these concessions to solo play if there was actually something worth doing in the game over the long term. I like the fact that I can chill out listening to the ocean while I putter from island to outcrop, but there’s no real thing to work toward or even chase.

seriously good times. Knights and Super Foul Egg on the Amiga were the staple games for my buddies and I during our University years. Piece of cardboard taped to the middle of the monitor did the trick!

Also by default I believe Windows will prevent your machine from staying asleep if there’s any other networked machine accessing it. eg. did you access a shared folder on your laptop one day last summer? well there’s a good chance it won’t stay asleep.

I backed this on ks a long long time ago, and my physical edition turned up today out of the blue. It’s actually really beautifully put together.
