Personally I really dislike the way everyone in the group has to do their job or it’s generally a wipe, and the chances of recovering from a mistake seem limited. In previous raids there has been more chances to recover and get a clutch result in many encounters which has been highly rewarding.

where are you at in terms of completion? You’ve cleared the campaign I imagine, but have you cleared out things like region chests and lost sectors? are you using the infusion system to bump up your legendaries? (particularly those that dropped with legendary mods installed)

FFXIV is totally different. You FFXIV info is saved to a Square Enix account you have to make and is saved server side and shared across all platforms because of that. Not to mention platform servers are shared in FFXIV. Destiny is not the same. Could it be? Maybe sure yeah. Will it? Probably not lol...
