exactly. I would be more likely to say “oh we’ve been nerding out over <insert game name here>“ which provides the opportunity for someone to jump on board and talk games if they want, or steer away from that topic immediately.

being able to have Japanese voices in Nioh was one of the best features as far as immersion goes, so I’m glad it’s now available for this.
Overcooked is a blast! particularly the 2vs2 games. I picked up Crawl off the PSN store in the weekend for almost nothing, which looks like it’ll be a fun 4 player mad-cap kind of experience. Thank goodness for these same-screen games. (Towerfall Ascension is another good time waster)
my friends and I used to play the hell out of a Puyo Puyo game waaay back on the Amiga named Super Foul Egg. (I think we played puyo puyo itself on the Mac)

you know.. I never thought I’d be thankful for anything much that Ubisoft did. But them bailing out of the annual Assassin’s Creed cycle was one of the best things to happen to gaming in a long time.
