Boo-urns it is. Motion carried.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
They usually do! AMC is usually right on top of stuff like this. Not sure why they shit the bed on this one.
And they all said they wanted her written into the will but were outvoted. Even Meg, kind as she was to Marta earlier in the film, turns out to be just as craven as the rest of them when it looks like their spigot is about to be turned off.
This movie surprises you without trying to outsmart you. I really felt like Daniel Craig’s character was Rian Johnson telling you to enjoy the ride and that it’s not going to be a “super-genius detective” story:
Seen the movie yet? Yeah, didn’t think so.
“I’m not SUPER hep to pop culture” . . .
No more.
Just got back from seeing this and I couldn’t agree more with the score- it’s a well-oiled, intricately crafted mystery machine from minute one to the end credits. And genuinely hilarious- my favorite running gag is that Marta’s family’s background keeps changing because nobody in the Thrombey clan can remember (or…
You only actually see the vomit once, if that helps.
Goddamit, I love that whole scene. ‘That was the dumbest car chase ever.’
Saw it on Friday night to a packed house and loved it. You should all go see it this weekend, because Rian has stated that if it does even remotely well, we’ll get more adventures with Benoit Blanc. Which, obviously, is a good thing.
I had a blast watching this film. I think one of the huge bonuses of the way it plays with the genre, especially in the way it answers questions much sooner than you’d expect, is that it kind of stops you playing armchair detective so you can just enjoy what’s happening in front of you. But then in the denouement,…
Now that I know the name of the deceased, I think I may need to see this movie. They’re most assuredly NOT playing Clue.
I’ve been looking forward to this movie since I saw the first trailer. Got to see an early screening this past Saturday and it lived up to all of my expectations. Good twists and turns, very funny, and the cast is fantastic. Hope people make an effort to go see it.
It’s very entertaining, for example, to see Shannon go so weak-willed and Evans subvert his square-jawed Captain America image
I can attest that my wife and I got a babysitter for this on Saturday and it was WORTH IT.
With that cast, I would catch it on Netflix if it got a C-minus.
Saw it yesterday and I couldn't agree with you more. I dug this film real bad. Chris Evans and Daniel Craig were my favourite bits of the film and I had a whale of a time watching this from minute one, I suggested that my mom should watch this because with the exception of the bad language this film is right in her…
Thank you for this review. I enjoy most of Rian’s stuff, and have no doubt I’ll enjoy this, and the following probably doesn’t quite apply to anything in the actual movie, which A.A. said does fulfill genre beats. But I couldn’t help notice again this idea of “subversion”, as if every new genre movie has to subvert…
