I first read this as “Font Fetish” and thought.. “yeah that tracks.” Now I’m not sure which I’d prefer! Feet are not usually too attractive (unless dressed up). But a good script font... hoo-boy.

Star Wars & Star Trek shared universe confirmed!

Dang that is a pretty great idea.  We never got that kind of depth from any Star Wars movie.

the work they’re trying to do in these shows is to perform an end run around those movies, so that they don’t define the future of the franchise.

Yes, I loved that too.  I hope with such a short season and no guarantee of another, they have time to flesh that out.

My head-canon theory is that the “galaxy far, far away” is the milky way. Since “a long time ago” the milky way was “far, far away.” Earth exists in the Unknown Regions.

I don’t have a problem with how they’ve established continuity. The end of Rebels was open-ended enough that we knew that it took place after Endor, and that was all. That it also took place after the first 2 episodes of Ahsoka doesn’t ruin that for me.

In our pre-Ahsoka re-watch of Rebels, wow it’s so clear just how murderous and “do whatever I need to get the job done” Chopper really is. If they wrote him well in this series, he could be a pretty popular character.

Yeah, even rewatching Rebels like I’m doing now, all these hints and mysteries surrounding a “large super-secret weapon” ring a bit hollow since we know that, ultimately, there is a lot more losing that’s going to happen than there is winning.

Yeah but that’s painting every single person with the broad brush of being charitable - which is just as erroneous as painting every single person with the broad brush of being fascist.

I haven’t seen many characters from this show that appear in the sequel trilogy, but maybe I’ve missed them.

Agreed. The whole “gray Jedi” or “dark Jedi” thing just doesn’t apply to someone who really is just an unofficial “good guy” and ten times better at it than the next nearest official good guy. It’s like having enough education to pass the bar or a med school exam without ever actually becoming a lawyer or doctor, but

Your description reminds me of professional athletes. You could argue there is nothing special about being an NBA or MLB player using the same logic. Except there are MLB players and then there are all-timers, to say nothing of the talent it takes to even have a single game at that level in the first place. We’re not

sithhhhhhhh

“Papers, please.”

Hey not everyone that worked for the Empire was interested in galaxy-wide, oppressive dominance. Some just wanted to earn credits to put blue milk on the table. :-D

Go over their rules for joining some time, too. Talk about restrictive.

I totally agree re: Windu. It was almost as though he was being an obstructionist just to be an obstructionist.

“I am KNOW Jedi.”

It’s a kitchen attached to another restaurant. Either they have employees who can cook food from frozen, or they can’t.
