There’s a double standard here, too. White musicians wear Che Guevara t-shirts so much it’s a cliche and nobody thinks it’s much more than a fashion statement, but Beyoncé puts her dancers in black berets and suddenly she’s a full-on Black Panther? It’s ridiculous.
I was hardly a fan, but this Supreme Court decision is one of the most important things to ever happen involving video game culture and he wrote the majority opinion. It’s a minor part of his legacy, but given that this is a gaming-centric site, it seemed worth noting.

I think it’s simpler than that. If you’re a black man, the police think you’re black and are therefore more likely to fuck with you. So you better integrate that into your person so you can deal with the police appropriately (with fear, lots and lots of fear).

There should be a special state law that says if you make a delivery guy deliver without tipping him in the middle of a storm, he should legally be able to throw you down the stairs. The higher up you live, the more steps he gets to use.
