Right after my divorce was final, I traveled back home for Christmas. A few old friends found out that I was in town and wanted to meet up for dinner and drinks.

Right? I don't know where you live, but here in north metro-Detroit, the snow was a bitch last winter. Not as bad as the year prior, but still bad. I will not miss it if this winter is mostly snowless (we already had a day that dumped down about a foot but then promptly melted.)

Nothing like a scathing, totally unsupported criticism to boost ones own self-esteem without the hassle of communication or critical thinking. That rush lost its appeal for me when I turned 14, but your milage may vary.

Thanks for highlighting their education reporting. I feel like they didn’t get enough attention for both that work and the education and desegregation work that has to be done in this country.
