I’m in the SF Bay Area, about a mile or so off of 101. Normally, I can hear the din of the highway from our home, kinda like a dull hum. On mornings like New Year’s Day or the 4th of July, it’s usually pretty quiet.

You’re not using up scare resources or interfering with anything, so I’d say, mind your social distancing, glove up or wash up or both when touching public surfaces (and keep your hands away from your face anyway as an inner ring of defenses), and enjoy some stress reducing outdoor recreation.

IMO I see the food as an example of the trap that is neverland, the food is ‘real’ and sustaining so long as you play the game but only as long as you play the game. So every meal the lost boys choose not the grow up, and for choosing to stay childish, neverland grants them food.

That is indeed the point, to show that neverland is hollow, it fulfills your desires but only in a paperthin way.

Hook getting to London and back sounds like something Tink would have helped with. That’s completely within her character and surprised they didn’t go with that.

Thats the actually creepy and uncomfortable moment, as its meant to be.

The Wendy moment I remember perfectly is, right after Jack tells her Peter’s a “corporate raider”, she turns to him and says, “So, Peter.....you’ve become a pirate!”, and he just DEFLATES.

I love Hook dearly (hell, I had the novelization!), but it is indeed a flawed movie. I remember thinking, even as a ten-year-old in 1991, that the Lost Boys felt dated the instant they hit the screen, and that a lot of the slapstick and humor was overwrought and obnoxious.

I’ve seen that, and nowhere in the movie (and I honestly can’t remember anywhere in the lore) says that, the theory is apparently based on a single line from Hook and the fact that we don’t see any Indians, but this is a movie that was made in 1991, when you could get away with calling them Indians if you didn’t…

I will give you two of the negative points:

Chevy: Yup, everything from Trucks to our cheapest sports car gets our LT V8 technology! Top of the line engines in Camaro’s is our specialty!

Ford: Look, our Raptor engine goes in our Ford GT super car, isn’t that neat?
