Last year I had one business transaction that netted me $72k, from my side business. Because of the type of business I run I’m not able to write off a vehicle, though it’s been suggested I could if I got creative.

The above situation I described isn’t uncommon with many people I know.

Makes sense

You still illegally download music? Why?!
(Asking as a UX Designer and curious what’s driving this behavior when you can literally listen to anything for free now)

Yes, there are really that many people with this level of income. Better yet there are that many people with LLCs that can write this off as a “business expense”. We all live in the big cities where housing prices are insane.

Boring in what aspect? The styling, the specs, the technology??

Curious why you think you fucked up by getting the R.

As far as I’ve been instructed your example is correct. There’s ways to get exemptions, which is what FB is working on and I’m guessing your example would qualify for an exemption, but for the most part it’s a giant pain in the ass for products that revolve around storing data.

Right?! Luckily it’s not that big of an ask on our end; we record data for customers an provide analysis, we just need a way for their customers who might be involved in the data recording to opt-in or out.

Exactly. Having just found out about all this last week and also discovering that interpretations of the law vary I’m interested in seeing where this goes. Partly because it affects me directly and partly because I’m sure the US will implement some regulation like this eventually.

As someone currently working to make a product GDPR compliant I fully understand where they’re coming from on this and I’m betting it’s not as a nefarious stance as this article suggests.

The OP said that white millennials weren’t the target demographic, not that they didn’t like Beyonce. Big difference.

This smells like an ad agency’s idea...

Quality

From what I remember they took a big dip.

Too much logic and actual experience in this area for an internet comment.

There is no peak in Silicon Valley unless the job market here collapses. It’s like real estate prices in LA; as long as the demand is there the prices will at least stay where they’re at. And the demand has only dipped after large earthquakes...

Very curious why this is a “poser” wagon and not a “good, usable” wagon.

I was raised and learned to drive in the Los Angeles area. Later I lived in Atlanta and Chattanooga. Chattanooga had BY FAR the worst drivers I’ve ever experienced in my driving years. Majority...white.

This looks like it’s begging for a sensible lift and some rally tires.

Yeah, it needed a comma. Life goes on. :)
