Back around 99-00 I was living in LA and partying with friends in Laguna Beach on the regular. Then The Hills, The OC, and all that other shit hit the airwaves. Now it’s swarming with transplant douchebags and completely ruined.

I would say keep searching. If you like gaming find a game you enjoy participating in. For me that’s cycling. Group rides are intensely competitive yet depending on the ride very friendly.
