I just pumped $6k into mine after telling the Cruiser shop to get it running reliably enough that I can go on adventures and not worry about it, lol.

The sentiment of ‘only being able to use money while you’re here’ makes me feel better about the money I just unloaded on an ‘84 Land Cruiser and the mechanical repairs to get it running dependably.
Thank you.
So build some highways and have everyone drive around. That seems to be a good alternative in other cities, lolololololol.
What did the other dealers say?
From the link:
Pretty sure Tesla made their charging tech open source a few years back. Nobody’s used it but it is open.
I’m curious how and where this vehicle is registered.
Depending on how many people they had on board it might not have been that expensive. I participated in a one-way cycling event where they chartered an Amtrak train back to the starting point. It was completely full of people but only ran about $50/person.
What is a JKU
Why is ‘stupid’ in quotes? Seems like there’s enough evidence for that to be more than someone’s opinion.
This is too damn open ended but here’s a shot at narrowing down the choices:
- Golden Eagles are out. They’re nasty but fragile bodies and can’t do that much life ending damage to a big animal.
- Alligator/crocodiles are out. They can move fast but can only bite down from a low angle.
- Human is out. Smartest of the…
Like a ‘57 Chevy! Way too pedestrian!
Lesson: Dale Earnhardt Jr., like most southerners, can’t drive in snow.
You’re getting called out for not elaborating in how it’s “a generation behind”. Usually that references technology but it seems as though you’re just saying it in reference to power in which case *shrug*.
Wonder how difficult it would be to just spackle/paint those things out of existence...
Utilizing public transportation has been an amazing way for me to get a vehicle I’ve wanted for years but couldn’t justify as a second vehicle; an ‘84 Land Cruiser. Now, I can have it as a recreational vehicle I use on the weekends but doesn’t necessarily need to be super reliable as a daily driver/commuter car.
Assumption packed responses are assumption packed.
It would be great to see an article on the best all-season tires as well. On the west coast a lot of us live in “winter-less” conditions but travel to snowy mountains regularly. Doesn’t make sense to buy a true winter tire in this instance but get the best performing all-season available.
it is storm surge.
