Utilizing public transportation has been an amazing way for me to get a vehicle I’ve wanted for years but couldn’t justify as a second vehicle; an ‘84 Land Cruiser. Now, I can have it as a recreational vehicle I use on the weekends but doesn’t necessarily need to be super reliable as a daily driver/commuter car.

It would be great to see an article on the best all-season tires as well. On the west coast a lot of us live in “winter-less” conditions but travel to snowy mountains regularly. Doesn’t make sense to buy a true winter tire in this instance but get the best performing all-season available.
