I think you've overlooked that the thrust of my point wasn't speculation about whether or not she's mentally ill, but rather my desire to see commenters shut the fuck up with their tired, unoriginal, unfunny jokes suggesting she's pulling a Joaquin Phoenix routine.

Ignore the hell out of lankypanky. I think he or she is having a stroke of some sort. They just called you malicious because of the points you made.

Malicious? SERIOUSLY?

Good god, you're tedious, and missing her point seemingly deliberately.

Some dude chewed another dude's face off in Florida once, but I don't assume all Floridians are face-cannibals. Your logic here is anything but logical. Just say, "Because I want to believe the titillating worst of celebrities" and own up to your motivations. It's not like that mindset isn't welcome here on Gawker

One person doing something does not "a thing" make. And this is starting to make me hate Phoenix for coming up with such a goddamn stupid idea in the first place, now that I know it means the masses will question the mental illness of celebrities because of something a misguided, self-indulgent douche did one time.

I am so sick of seeing people suggesting she's playing some elaborate prank on everyone. Plus, every person who makes that suggestion/joke seems to think they're being funny and original, when in truth someone says it on every single article about her right now. It's obnoxious, it diminishes the scariness of what's

TONS of employers everywhere misuse unpaid interns, in every industry, often out of ignorance, but sometimes deliberately. Basically, if the unpaid intern isn't a pain in the ass to have around, and a time and money-suck for your company, you're probably doing it wrong.

The nose-boob is just a droopy mess and the whole thing looks like a melting waxwork. I honestly got the impression that image is supposed to be scary. I'll be chased by droopy nose-boobed monsters in my nightmares tonight.

I apologize. This particular subject, and more specifically, anyone's willingness to exploit it, profoundly rubs me raw. Guess I can't handle any Devil's Advocating today.

*depression increasing*

I don't think it's a feminist issue, or a "go away, feminists" issue. It's a "go away, people with ethics and morals that inconvenience us" issue.

I don't think that it's automatically disrespectful to put it in Dirt Bag, because the write-up itself isn't that bad.

Oh, so you're totes cool with linking to photos and speculation about a child cutting herself? Good to know.

Heartbreaking point.

Phelia, I miss seeing you around Clashtalk! I think you're swell. :)

YES. I would love to see that.

Breslaw, if you have a suicidal child someday, I hope you remember that you did this, and that it tears at you.

It's wrong. It's gross. It's a monumentally asshole move.

How about we not scrutinize a suicidal, troubled child, Jezebel/Breslaw? Did a hard blow to your head dislodge your good judgment?
