Yep, never again. My first Samsung 1080p TV from 2008 is still running, so when we had to buy a new fridge for our house, of course I went with Samsung. Many of the shelves started cracking in just six months and the ice machine constantly froze over and then ultimately stopped working.

My thoughts exactly. I’m primarily a Mac person, but put together a gaming rig late last year. While installing Windows, I was inundated with prompts to buy into services, which was tacky enough, but seeing ads in the interface itself? It makes it feel like I’m using a freemium app instead of something I paid for.
I agree with your sentiment, though I personally don’t think they went too far into the lore. Still, I have a coworker who has similar tastes but who has not played any of the Fallout games, and he was confused by a few lore-related things. He still enjoyed it, but yeah, you might be on to something, there.
