by some you mean “men”. No self-respecting liberal to moderate woman would even for a second consider voting GOP

Not at all! If it were up to me, campaign finance would get a radical overhaul, gerrymandering would be remedied for good, electoral votes would be awarded proportionally (or better yet, the electoral college would be abolished and the election would be decided by the popular vote), the voting rights act would be…
I agree that going right wouldn’t really help her, but I don’t think she’d be doing it to win voters—I think it’s where she really stands. She’s being pulled left with Sanders in the race.
I’m also frustrated by the lack of coverage. But it’s like Chomsky said; you can tell you’re really on the right track when the powers that be react with utter silence.
I don’t think going right would even help her with independents. The more of a contrast between her and Trump the better. Literally only Trump supporters are actually going to vote for Trump in the general. And that is only a third of half of the population. So she really doesn’t even have to move to the center.
It was killing me last night watching Sanders win in Michigan, but the headlines on my news feed for every “mainstream” news source was either about Clinton winning Mississippi or about how Clinton’s speech was snubbed in favor of Trump, or just Trump Trump Trump.
Yes it is broad indeed.
I’m a Clinton supporter, but I’m glad Bernie is in the race. I still think the math favors her, but Bernie is making her a better candidate and is ensuring she doesn’t get complacent or cocky before the general. I like how he’s moved the conversation to the populist left, and I’m proud to say I’m a Democrat voting for…
Yeah. I have the feeling that Hillary’s going to veer right the second that Bernie’s not in the race anymore. And I want to see her commit to some seriously progressive positions that she can’t back off of before that happens.
For sure. And if he doesn’t win it, I would love to see him get a powerful appointment under Hillary. (Secretary of Labor?)
Even if he doesn’t win the nomination, I’m hoping for him to do well enough to make it to the end because I love that Hillary and Bernie are having discussions about actual fucking issues and making the Democratic party stronger. Also, the longer this goes on, the more desperate Hillary might be to just get it over…
I’m fine with him not ultimately winning, but I hope that there are lots of Sanders-supporting delegates at the convention to help shape and influence the party platform.
It’s worth pointing out that Clinton was always going to build a large lead early on; the majority of her strongest states all vote early. And the Sanders campaign was always going to be about weathering an early storm, surviving an onslaught of stories about how he is finished, and then fighting back and taking the…
Yeah, there is some SUPER weird stuff going on this race with overlap in the extremes—people who prefer Bernie, but would vote Trump if Hillary’s the nominee, or who prefer Trump, but also like Bernie ... It’s madness! But I take heart in knowing that Bernie’s appeal is incredibly broad, and that it doesn’t matter in…
I’m not pretending it’s a likely outcome, but maybe he WILL win, dammit!
how else would we know how many people in florida wouldn’t rule out ted cruz being the zodiac killer
some pollsters have been caught withholding results when they differ from other surveys,“herding” toward a false consensus about a race instead of behaving independently.
And the other 18% of statistics are bears.
Oh man, policy polls are the worst. Change one word in how you ask the question, get a different answer from the same person each time you ask.
Primary polls are terrible for lots of reason...come November they will be spot on again.
