Yeah, triptans are weird. I tried most of them but Relpax had the fewest side effects for me. But just like you I would still lose a whole day if it was a bad one. It takes a couple of hours for it to kick in, so I ended up sleeping them off way more often than is really convenient for a person who has a job & stuff.

Oddly enough caffeine only really helps me post-migraine. My non-mmj medication routine for them is Relpax followed a couple of hours later by an aleve tablet & some kind of caffeine (preferably iced coffee, but I'll drink a Dr. Pepper IDGAF).
