Most of Land Rover’s model names are too long, but their way of denoting the engine and power ratings makes perfect sense. P400e? Petrol, 400 PS, e (phev). D250? P300? EV400? You know exactly what’s under the hood.

Reluctant No Dice.
Let’s not forget that GM not only had to be bailed out by the government, but also had to kill off Pontiac in the process. Not really sure if he put any effort into the visuals here. Typical Boomer.
Top Gear’s “Mum Run” Challenge back in 2005 featured a Modus. I think it was the presenters choice, while the mums preferred the Jazz/Fit.
I bought my 2013 Mini GP in September 2020 for a song; only $11,500.
Jalopnik has published way too many “Lease a new Civic (Type R Limited), or try to find financing for this G65 AMG (with intergalactic mileage) for the same money?!” articles

I had a ‘92 400E about a decade ago. It felt like a tank, just so solid. I’ve been looking at 124s off and on since then as an affordable classic to drive on those days where I need more space than my current daily driver Mini GP offers.
A friend thought that if their car was overheating, then they should blast the A/C to get cool air into the engine.
That’s great, but you didn’t answer my question.
Curious, when you’re buying a $65k rig, does $5k up to the next trim level really make or break the deal? What “perks” does the Z71 get exactly that the Premier doesn’t?
I like the evolutionary front and side styling updates, but what’s with those Coupe deVille rear lights? Yuck.
Any of the Panther platform models, really.
My parents were in their mid 30s-early 40s during the 1990s, and I can’t see either of them being nostalgic for junk like this. Probably reminds them of always being busy and for being complete suburban mommy-mobiles; the Bravada especially. I’m in my mid 30s now, and I don’t care how decent the condition, I’d never…
Sure the driver needs to take responsibility, but Ford touts their Bronco Sport as a BRONCO first, and that’s the main issue. It’s a 2021 Escape in 2001 Escape clothes.
This definitely needs to get crossposted to r/TellMeTheOdds.
I’m so desensitized towards C8s now. Besides the years-long build up, to its staggered Covid release, to it’s winning MT CotY before it even entered production, to it’s plant shut downs, to its “it’s been out for 18 months, but we’re on it’s 3rd model year, time for a price hike”.. I dunno, I just don’t care anymore.
That’s what I was thinking. It’d be great to nip around the city in one of these. Use it for errands here and there, and park it anywhere. I think people in more rural areas can’t quite understand that, since they don’t drive anything smaller than a Super Duty.
At the end of the day, they were still stuck with an ‘88 Topaz, just with $10k worth of electronics in it.
