The cheapest no frills 2-door Wrangler is $29,790. That’s too expensive.

Lamborghini got in on the idea last year, too. There probably is a market for these things. After all, G63 6x6s and G550 4x4s were built and sold, just at the complete opposite end of the spectrum.

Isn’t this because you can’t have brake lights (and/or directionals) on a moveable tailgate? They should have two blocks of different LEDs where the current all in one housing is.

When I lived in LA, people told me their commutes or where they from me were in terms of time as opposed to mileage.

Just because the Mercedes V12 (M275) exists, doesn’t make it great. It’s got the old 3 valve head design off the old 5.8 V12 (M137) that debuted at the turn of the millennium. (5.8 liter with 362 hp)

Looks like they were boldly targeting a ‘70s Jag XJ with their steering wheel design.

(sightly detuned from the Spyder/GT4 unit which makes 411 horseys but the same amount of foot lubs).

I can’t believe that a Yaris is the most desirable new Toyota.

Why 15 years? Seems like an odd metric considering it’s a new decade.

Other takeaways:

Counterpoint; combine all the waste all these mini AMGs let off compared to all the G63s bumbling around 90210. Offer one or two of the above, and keep the G63. I hate the GLS63, but at that price point, I can appreciate it’s an easy profit.

Does the world really need two A35s, two CLA35s, as well as a GLA35 and GLB35? Two hatchbacks, two small sedans, and two small suvs.. let alone the various 45 and 45 S models of the same cars.

That whole “Mini’s are too big” argument died out at the turn of the millennium. Do you really expect people to drive around in a 1500lb 10 ft. car when a slow speed bump from a Highlander would total the car? Here’s a 4 star Q7 against a 5 star Fiat 500 for reference:

Didn’t they JUST change to CT and XT for that exact reason? For people so say “I bought a Cadillac XT5", opposed to “I bought an XT5" which means nothing to anyone?

You got a free Porsche, drove it for a bit, and are now getting a $40k payout out of it, to spend any which way you please?

It literally looks like it’s missing it’s front end clip.

I feel like the ‘97 Accord was the most stolen car even 20 years ago. People still want those things?

They were going for Esprit S1 lines (form The Spy Who Loved Me), do I like the look of it? No. But it’ll be softened to some extant for production.

They certainly have presence, and going by the configurator, they’re only available on the top level GT63 S. For now anyways.

Two decades.. it came out in 1999 after all. God, I’m old.
