I’m just gonna say it.. I’d never consider one without a manual.

I love the LC500's blue/white/orange interior. It’s so daring. It’d definitly be the color combo I’d spring for on my $100k coupe. The full toasted caramel interior is unique, but reminds me of a ‘70s Cadillac for some reason.

I was in awe of all that chrome chicken wire, and those giant halogen lights.. seriously, somebody signed off on that. And then they actually sold it.

Model years aren’t rounding errors.

I took a pic of one at the 2008 car show in Boston. I don’t have a pic of the wing, but I totally forgot how awful that thing was. Pretty sure Pontiac was killed off about 6 months later.

Zenvo TSR-S. I know it’s not exactly a car you can just go and buy, but have you seen this thing in action? Crazy.

I’d like to know who’s buying (or actually, leasing) these GranTurismos in 2019. It looks IDENTICAL to the 2007 model, and while it doesn’t look bad, why pay for something that looks like a $30k decade old model?

I fully support this, because like you said, they’re pretty much confined to wealthy urban enclaves.

For a 1997, that thing looks absolutely ancient! I get that it was the final year after a 12 model year run, but a ‘97 Windstar looks light years ahead of this thing.

I must be in the minority, because my fave M2 is the facelifted 2018 with the N55. Only year with LEDs, prior to the Competition model. Looks and sounds better, IMHO. The CS is a mess.

If anything, the “run out special” 135is was more of an M240i competitor.

Meh, kinda underwhelmed. It’ll probably be over $75k, and just like the $101k Cayman GT4, it might be worth it to investors.

Sidenote.. I forgot how much I liked the Element.

Admittedly, I agree. It was based off that old Volvo S80 platform from the mid 2000s. There probably wasn’t much life left in the Flex, but another 20k in sales for another year or two would’ve been a nice extra drop or two in the bucket as they change over to CUVs and electric Mustangs.

All kidding aside, I can’t think of anything that panders to car people who think it’s cool, while it never really was”, than a TSX Wagon.

I dunno, 3% of overall SUV sales on a platform that amortized a decade ago? Sure it was old, but it was a cash cow. Like with the Land Cruiser, there was a loyal base who’d buy one, and it never needed advertising to sell.

Agreed, I’d get a 2-series over a 4-series not only because of the price, but because it’s smaller and does everything the 4 can while being more nimble in day-to-day urban life. And they share the same engines, anyways.

But they introduced those names on new models which don’t correlate to their predecessors. Coinciding with the V’s being some stopgap mid-level model? They had the hi-po V, then the V-Sport. Now the V is lower than the previous lower rung V-Sport. I don’t get it.

Because there was always some sense of logic to zee Germans. Up until 2006 anyways.
