Also, I was 23 at the time, and the most exotic thing I’d driven at that point was a then-five year old 650i Cabrio and a 1991 964. So obviously being young, I wanted to drive a modern supercar, but the reality of actually driving one in the real world really fell short of what I thought it’d be like.

This isn’t so much a dig at the Gallardo, as much as it is towards anything expensive, or $200k+. It’s all relative.

Just because of the varied seasons and scenery that goes along with that, not to mention and all the “old-money” million dollar barn finds, it’s hard to argue against MA/CT.

I’d argue that the facelifted 2007 was the beginning of the end. CVT only, while the Altima could still be had with a stick. Not that that’s the only thing that matters, but it’s been a weird wannabe-sporty/cruiser hybrid ever since.
