This. Thank you.
This. Thank you.
You understand that if you’d ban private cars in city centers, those 4-6 lane roads in the city could be split into one lane for bus traffic, and 2 lanes for bikes, yes? Maybe even build a little curb between the bus land and the bike lane (like Paris does). This would make riding a bike much safer.
Oh, Europe is littered with suburbs. People just more often use public transportation to get to their work places in the cities.
How’s removing cars from city centers left-wing?
This.
The idea, that the plan would be to just remove personal car usage from cities without installing a comprehensive public transport system to replace it, is asinine. It’s bad faith arguing.
Yup. That stuck out to me too.
Eh, YOLO..
90% is a vast majority, regardless of how you want to frame it. It’s 9 out of 10 people, which, again, is the VAST MAJORITY.
Also, 80% of Canadians are vaccinated, so your average Joe is in fact not hesitant about the vaccine. 2 out of 10 are hesitant, which means, again, that 80% is still a vast majority.
Yes, you do…
So, should 90% of anything then not be called a ‘vast majority’, which, by definition, it absolutely, definitely is?
How would this be considered propaganda..?
Are you being sarcastic?
90% is as vast a majority one can expect to get.
Same, sprint races take away from the impact of both qualifying on Saturday as well as the race on Sunday. It kinda cheapens the whole weekend..?
Idaho. But yes.
Oh fuck off. We’ve got a serious white supremacy problem on our hands, BLM aren’t the issue. Stay on target.
Ask and ye shall receive:
People are more than this passionate about clean drinking water, etc. but their protests are usually dealt with excessive violence on behalf of law enforcement and mostly silence on behalf of media. That is a long-standing tradition in most countries (and especially the US).
Perfectly put. Thank you.
This. Walk-in traffic is much higher than drive-in traffic can be. They should get bridge-loans if needed, for the meantime though.
I’d call your approach pretty much that of an environmentalist.
You’d do well to actually understand the issues you comment on. Otherwise you’ll make yourself to look like an ass, as you do here.
Just saying.
This. Thank you.
