Honestly, it’s a perfect model for my wife who has zero interest in playing games beyond Animal Crossing. We can both play it without arguing about who gets to use the Switch and then when she’s bored of playing 6 months later, I have a dedicated travel model.

My sister and brother-in-law just had a baby two months ago and beyond being excited about having a niece, I’m extremely excited to eventually play video games with her. My BIL games too, so there’s no way she’d grow up without them.

Label me cautiously optimistic about this. I backed Yooka-Laylee and was kind of... meh. I mean... it’s technically what we asked for; just didn’t really realize we had to explicitly state not to include N64-era platforming problems too.

Let’s Go really added some nice quality of life features. Doing away with the PC and just having your Pokemon box in the menu, visible overworld Pokemon, and following Pokemon make it really difficult to go back to the mainline games now.

Oh yeah, I wholeheartedly agree with that. Dude’s definitely got depression, and I know from personal experience that the current state of the sociopolitical system is a seriously crushing weight that doesn’t help the mix.
