Same! I just got flashbacks to childhood and browsing the video store. Some of these covers, especially the Evil Dead 2 one for me, are so iconic!

I was in queue to try and get one for my wife and when I told her it was just Nook and Isabelle, her response was, “nevermind then.”
I usually try not to throw or break anything in video game frustration, but I once threw my entire 3DS (technically a controller?) across the room because of Majora’s Mask. It smashed in a few buttons and made it impossible to play... and I was happy about it.
I played last night with my two friends and, yeah, a lot of my issues stemmed from me just not understanding the mechanics well enough.
This makes me feel better about everything. I tend to main the tricky classes/characters that most shy away from, so I’ll probably stick with pyro after reading up on skill trees.
This is good to know! I tried it out last night as pyro and just... wasn’t having a good time. Ended up dying so many times at the first major boss that I gave up in frustration because nothing I tried could take his healthbar past half.
Idk, my friend got his Series X before I did and ran into a lot of the same issues I was running into... it just looked better. Maybe things are just hit or miss; they just tend to hit me more often, it seems.
CP77 was easily the biggest gaming let down I’ve ever experienced. I took off a few days of work to play over the release weekend. I could get past it looking like garbage, since I was playing on a base model Xbox One, but I ran into a bug that basically broke the game. That last get-away sequence wouldn’t load in my…
I still have that strategy guide will all 150 stickers still in tact. Somehow 10 yo me was conscious enough not to do anything with that sheet.

Ha! We must be around the same age then. I kept getting dunked on in middle school for still liking Pokemon, so I forced myself to cut it out of my life cold turkey and move on. I ended up missing the bulk of Gold/Silver and all of the 3rd Gen.
oh good, it somehow got worse when I expanded it. lovely
Hey, it’s me, Eiji Aonuma. I bet you’re thinking that because I’m here, I have something to share about BotW 2.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. I frequently buy cards from Meijer, as I’m usually there buying groceries anyway. When Hidden Fates came out in 2019, I swear those tins were bought up by employees before they even hit shelves— now same thing with Vivid Voltage.
Even if it was just for promotional material, it would have been cool to see Post Malone walking up with a Pokemon by his side or something.
Yeah, actually... this makes sense.
I didn’t say it was a good gym
Between Katy Perry and Post Malone, it would have been cool if TPC had presented them as gym leaders complete with what they’d have as their primary Pokemon.
As weird as it seems, he does look like he’d fit in as a gym leader.
Same! Stores had all this older stuff that they couldn’t get rid of for years and now everything’s wiped clean. My brother-in-law is casually buying cards and building a collection for my niece; he texted me the other day to tell me one of the stores had a ton in stock. I went later that night and all I found was some…
I guess that’s what happens when the scalpers get involved— they’re buying up everything whether it makes sense or not. It definitely makes me not want to bother with any of it, that’s for sure.
