I’m sure it varies by area too. I didn’t really have any issues buying cards, even through most of 2020, until VV released. I’ve been able to buy literally 6 VV booster packs total and those were all that were available between multiple stores. Everything else is completely wiped now as a result too.

HA! One missed letter makes all the difference

I’m mostly a casual car buyer— I’ll get a few booster packs of each new set with the occasional specialty pin or figure set here and there when money permits. It’s a relatively inexpensive serotonin boost and then I file the cards away in a binder.

I’m much less annoyed with Switch battery life than I am the left joy-cons that drift like they’re auditioning for a Fast & Furious movie.

Plus, it’s got that old school game feel where, for the most part, you really don’t know what the items do until you purchase them. So yeah, the items in Wallace’s shop seem like a steep price to pay when you don’t know what they’re going to do.

It’s been 10 years and I had forgotten what a slogfest the beginning of the game was like. I recommend grinding a bit to build up money and buy a bionic arm (or two) from Wallace’s mystery shop in the first stage. It’ll max out your strength stat and enemies will be a breeze after that.

“What are you going to do when you’re married and stressed? Tell your wife that you need to play Xbox?”

Glad I’m not the only person enjoying this game while thinking, “who the heck designed the controls this way?”

My friends and I have been enjoying Game Pass for a while now— everything available makes it well worth the money, plus the added bonus of “hey you can try that game you were interested in!”

I’m just happy someone else on this planet knows what I’m talking about

The best is a hard tossup between the N64/MK64 and GameBoy Pocket with Pokemon Red and Blue. Both made a pretty heavy impact on my childhood too.

Yeah, was playing on Xbone this weekend. I seriously thought I needed new glasses again because everything was so blurry. I definitely wasn’t expecting the level of quality shown in previews, but I certainly wasn’t expecting it to look like a PS3/360 game. Which, I could have gotten past... but I hit a glitch that

I hate how she’s always right, even when it’s about things she has no interest in.

I guess “wait” given that I’ve tried to buy both and can’t seem to get past the checkout screen anywhere.

Well, I was a dumb kid scared of his own shadow so uh... the intro to Glover freaked me out.

Yes, the time off request is still in so I can waste several days being unproductive as hell for once.

You know ngl, if I had $200k lying about, I’d probably spend it on a Pokemon card too.

Playing on mayhem 10, with lootsplosion, has this event dropping so many legendaries that i legitimately don’t know what to do with them all.

Me: I’ve put in for days off in November to play Cyberpunk.

I kind of always thought the line was, “So long-y, Bowser!” giving “long” some Italian-accent flare.
