What’s creepy are people like you, that think they know someone based on reading some tabloids.

It was meant to be a joke about Linklater’s tendency for extended length filming projects, but I guess if you have to explain a joke, it’s a failed one.

I have to say this an example of people editing what someone said in order to be out raged.

Bullit should not be remade, there is no actor out there right now as cool as Steve McQueen. Something I always enjoyed about Bullit and similar crime movies is they use “The Organization” in place of mafia or mob. Point Blank and The Organization (duh) also use “The Organization”.

I wouldn’t want to get into a drug-off with Motley Crue, but one thing I would NOT be worried about is a fistfight. Sixx might be able to throw down a bit if half-sober (a big ‘if’) but Lee weighs about 140 lbs, Neil’s a spaz and Mick would just break in half.

She speaks in a weird obviously fake voice all the time, there aren’t a lot of people who do that.  Vintage Bobcat Goldthwait?  Also, if you met somebody and they were speaking with an obviously fake voice...would you give that person $100 million dollars?  It’s one of the more obvious red flags that make it so…

She managed to use connections to rope in some highly respected board members who knew nothing about biotech, and leverage those associations into investment dollars. As others have pointed out, there is a group of massively successful healthcare-focused venture capital funds with the expertise to evaluate the science…

To be fair, a lot of sociopaths with blank stares are very successful in tech and also in just about every other lucrative field.

There is no moment when she’s speaking in real footage that I’m not thinking, “Just speak in your normal voice!”

Was it women with a high voice or just anyone with a high voice? The studies I found on Google just now seem to indicate its the latter.

she comes off as a complete nut job

It’s hard obsessed, though, because her voice is so bonkers. It adds to the whole incredulity  of the story. She was so bizarre and weird and yet people threw money at her. I mean, she comes off as a complete nut job and yet everybody seemed to pretend it was normal 

It looks like the Jonah Hill/Eddie Murphy/ Julia Louis Dreyfus/David Duchovny movie finally has a name: You People

You may be setting your expectations a bit high considering it’s Sam, who they pay in bottles of whiskey.

I think they’re planning on changing it for every sequel.  He’ll have a Jamaican accent on this one.
