I thought that was a good scene too, reminding us what a good actor Chris Messina is.

I would say that that scene was strong enough to be the most memorable and impactful one to me, even when surrounded by all of the Jody/Mary/Africa nonsense.

Rafael and Alba interacting is something I thought would make for interesting character material ever since the first season, so I like that they’ve finally done something along those lines this year. In general, actually, I think Rafael’s interactions with Jane’s parents could also be fleshed out more.

It’s a shame, if it wasn’t for ego this guy could’ve gone far in the Fast and Furious franchise and any spin-offs.

They should just recast him with Don Cheadle.

Romances become boring, mostly. Very few actually move the plot forward. It becomes like a soap opera.

This whole final season seems extremely lazy and phoned in. It’s clear everyone is thinking about their next better project. But I still watch, because it’s comforting.

Dustin was the right one for finding the monster because he’s the one who would let his curiosity get the better of him.

I’m sorry you were laid off. I think this season is meant to be a send-off and for that it can be forgiven for thrusting characters around quickly. Based on hurts I’ve experienced in the past, I would rather get messy closure than clean openure.
