And people wonder why diversity in hiring is important. If one or two had been involved in this one of them would have raised the "ummmmmmm" flag before it went online.

You can read, it just can't be in the shape of a rainbow.
Yeah but who are you arguing with? Who said that cheating was anyone else's fault?
I've never seen an episode of Reading Rainbow. So. There's that. Call me when he starts using Geordi LaForge's catchphrases.
What point are you trying to make here? Of course her choice to cheat was her choice. Why is that the only thing you feel the need to say? I didn't say it wasn't her choice, so what point are you really even arguing here?
I never saw it, so I can continue to believe.
Well if Dark HelMet says full stop then I guess that's that because he's definitely the arbiter of whether other people can see shades of gray even though his limited world is all black and white.
And it looks like Trump is thinking "I hope we get to a bathroom soon, I really need to poop."
What in the hell? Where have you ever worked that this was the hiring process?
Well I just got another response from Laura Browning and she says that the people who said those things work on Kinja and that's how the other communities on Kinja work, but that AVClub will be building theirs to reflect the wants of AVClub commenters. I want to believe. Whether you do is up to you, and you'd be…
Well that's something. I appreciate the response.
As you'll see wayyy downthread, killing conversations is exactly what they want to do. They consider it a "goal."
They get a limited number of peremptory challenges. They likely get unlimited challenges for cause, though having heard a song on a radio would unlikely qualify as "for cause."
That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. Just because they answer they've heard a song on the radio doesn't mean they'll be automatically disqualified. It's a questionnaire, not a final test.
Well, both Ernie (Kinja Tech) and eclaire above have said that the goal of the new commenting system is to keep people from going off topic and to make the comments to be something where people are only responding to the article. As I replied to them, that seems to run counter to what AVClub has been telling us for…
I agree with this. I actually think Frieda is in the right here. I wish Issa was at least a bit more conflicted about it, and not just "oh it doesn't matter" and blowing it off.
He could get it off. He was just slow. I didn't get the impression that he was impaired. She had trouble getting her "tapered" pants off too.
Not only is he going to be fine, but he probably prefers that it ended that way. This way he can tell himself that she broke up with him, rather than him kicking her to the curb and breaking her heart. Just like to him it's Issa's fault that they broke up because she cheated, not recognizing that he had anything to…
I was really mad at that guy on the steps for not offering to help. I know he was with his wife or whatever but common courtesy says you help someone struggling that much. He just stood his ass there.
I think women do very often, sadly.
