Does anyone know when JamON became Pearl Jam Radio? It really upset me because jam on used to play all my favorite stuff from the likes of moe., Umphreys McGee, et al... but now all they do is rebroadcast boring mid-90's pearl jam concerts.

My biggest problem with body kits is that they can never perfectly match the color of the car they're mated to. This is one of the more subtle ones I've seen, but the fact that its a different shade of white to the rest of the car just throws off the whole balance.

Don't fight it son. Confess quickly! If you hold out too long, you could jeopardize your credit rating!

Now there's a photo from this site i was hoping to forget.

mind = blown. Thanks for the tip.

Was that image really necessary? It has so little to do with the article and is overly graphic. A photo of someone cross-eyed would convey the same idea.

well done sir, well done.

1980's? pshaw. My 1997 Range Rover has a recirc ball steering box, and it was the same one they kept using up until the last disco II in 2004. The steering, gas and brakes are all designed to be soft to allow you greater control while driving off road. The theory is that having longer throttle travel allows much more

The REAL secret recipe is the one for Angostura Bitters. That's where the tale of "no one knows the whole thing and two people who know it can't be on the same plane" comes from. Look it up, its pretty fascinating the lengths to which they go to protect an odd tasting little ingredient.

Fun fact: salamanders use basically any form of non-gasoline fuel you can find. We used to fill ours up with diesel, but they can use kero, #3 fuel oil, jet 8 or jet A. My friend who was in the air force reserve apparently used to fill theirs on the base with jetA.

Both the links at the bottom of the article appear to be #broken.

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: My favorite speaker cable are the orange 12 gauge extension cords you buy at Home Depot. Plenty of weight, enough copper to crimp banana plugs onto, plus they're super cheap.

@$kaycog: Whats' the deal with the high beltlines on basically every car these days? As a red-blooded American, I love being able to stick my elbow out the window in the summer. All my friends with newer cars, its nearly impossible. Disapprove.

I want to order these for the winter, but I'm afraid if I do we won't get any more snow.

@PunjabiPlaya: I want a horn here, here and here. you can never find a horn when you're mad.

@p1-ferrari: Dare I say it? I think the French Connection's chase is better. Mainly because it was filmed mostly impromptu without closing roads, something that could never, ever, ever be done today. (Or probably then, as well).

I've actually built a Norm Abram project. Its a cedar-lined blanket chest thats currently in my bedroom and holds all my off-season clothes. Its no where near his level of craftsmanship, but I like it nonetheless. I still run my hands over the few joints that I got "perfect" and are fantastically flush.

@critter42: I love norm. "So to cut these mortises, we're going to use my laser-guided mortising machine. There's only three like her in the world."

Ummm... Bob Dylan is still alive, no?
