I just learned that one of the PM’s on my main project, his subs call him “Rumplemintz Rob” because he’s always sneaking drinks in covert areas.

As a Fiat 500 owner since 2011, I can say definitively that blow outs are definitely a problem on cars with smaller wheels or small wheels and low-profile tires like I have (195/45 R16). The OEM Conti’s basically blow out when you hit a speed bump too hard. 

I live on a busier street (12,000 cars a day according to DOT!) and when the windows are open in summer, I am always aghast how many people I hear drive by with that whumwhumwhumwhumwhum of an under-inflated or flat tire. How do they not notice??
