@the dude still abides: Listen to the version from Under Great White Northern Lights. He pours his heart into it.

Hey I went as Donny for halloween. Wore a bowling shirt and center parted my hair. I was accessory to the rest of our lebowski-mob; but no one could top our Jesus.

@HellaCoolNinja: Headroom total airhead or bithead. They're the best bang for the buck.

I'm not a fan of giving/getting gift cards in general, with one exception: iTunes cards are handy, and can be redeemed without even leaving the comfort of your couch. Then said person can enjoy the music/movies/apps they bought forever. Who knows... you might even be getting them their favorite album of all time!

Do yourself a favor and if you're buying a tape measure, spend the extra cash on a Stanley FatMax. The first time you need to get a dimension from wayyy over there and the tape can just reach out and grab it, you'll thank yourself. They are honestly worth every penny.

@zundefolge1342: Can we sneak an early century architecture discussion in under the radar here? My favorite Futurist has to be Sant'Elia. His sketches for the Citta Nuova were some of my favorites encountered during school.

"you couldn't hear a dump truck driving through a nitro glycerin plant"

"Listen," said Ford, who was still engrossed in the sales brochure, "they make a big thing of the ship's cybernetics. A new generation of Sirius Cybernetics Corporation robots and computers, with the new GPP feature."

Just make sure you don't do this with a dimmer switch... the front fins on them are the heat sinks and get very warm. Could be a recipe for a fire...

My firm's office has a mini golf course built into it. There are holes scattered about the building and its actually pretty challenging to play around all the furniture and people. That said, I asked my boss the other day about installing a fire pole to get from upstairs to downstairs faster. His response? "Oh yea. we

@Homerjay has ABSA Fever: Keurig does a bang-up job for being so fast. I love that there's no wasted coffee; I brew a cup into my travel mug on the way out the door in the morning and there's no extra pot, filter or anything to clean.

"push it along? its not far, is it?"

for some reason i want a 10 year old mercedes ML now.

@FriscoFairlane: A kid I work with drives a new Lancer (entry level, not an Evo.) I've ridden in it a few times... it feels cheap inside and it rattles quite a bit. Pretty surprising for a new car; I hope if you spring for the Evo they give you a better interior along with it.
