Oh my goodness. I really want this. Incidentally, have any of alfa's engines been certified by the EPA yet? last I heard that was the major roadblock about gray market importing them...

@Joe Wall: My land rover used to do the same thing. The air suspension would auto-level when you turned it off. It was supposed to do it for 15 minutes and shut off but sometimes you would come back in the mornings and the air tank would be empty and the car would be on the bump stops. It would take a solid 20 minutes

@JuanOxido: Wish I could promote comments. Or maybe thats just my rabid LCD soundsystem fanboyism talking

Now playing

This is probably due more to driver ineptitude than vehicle assembly or quality, but it's still kind of funny/painful to watch. Also, as a land rover owner, I must admit I'm slightly pleased. I had more H2 owners try to show me up at lights than I could shake a stick at. My LR is the slowest thing on 4 wheels and I

@jodark: I love not pumping my own gas. The worst part is having your hand get all smelly.

son of a bitch, I'm sick of these dolphins.

@tofuman001: I don't know how yet. Probably dynamite.

@87CapriceEstate: He added the ethicator after all of the clones the first time turned out to be jerks. He could decide if they would be "good" or "evil" with, of course, hilarious consequences.

Got a chuckle out of the Calvin and Hobbes references. He even remembered which way round the box went. Upside down: Transmogrifier. On Side: Duplicator (with optional ethicator). Topside up: Time Machine.

@FThorn: We have an old rotary dial phone in my beach house. Its built like a freaking tank. My favorite thing about it is the real bell inside it. We call it the firehouse phone because whenever it rings, you can hear it from at least three houses down; half a block if the windows are open and the wind is blowing

@Slainte72: thats the exact same look my cats give me when i try to move them off a chair I want to sit in.

@Optixtruf: I love how there's things that no one would know, like "escutcheon", "dewclaw" and "cannon bone" and then things that are extremely obvious, like "eye" and "thigh"

I prefer james may's Alfaab. (salfa romeaab?)

@laxmax613: "I know who is John Galt," said the tramp. "It’s a secret, but I know it."

@remington.merry: The very same. Rand is very much in vogue again these days.

Attention GM: put an LS V8 in a buick, lengthen it into a wagon, slap some "wood" on the sides and re-introduce the roadmaster name.

Is anyone else waiting for your weekend dose of murilee as much as I am so as to get away from all the apple crap from the past week? Giz has been unreadable... No offense to you, matt. I enjoyed the article, but would far more enjoy hearing about what murilee has been building out of junkyard parts than more about
