@roninpenguin: is it because of the heat in Phoenix... so post-tensioning limits cracking from expansion and contraction? I didn't know that there are applications for them outside of long-span construction.

@roninpenguin: that would ruin your day. That also implies that the person in question would have the worlds most expensive garage... since post-tensioning is only used really in bridges and long-span structures. I can't see a normal person with a normal garage having a post tensioned slab.

@87CapriceEstate: Sorry, should have said inside lane... the one that would allow you a quick u-turn...

@VeeArrrSix: Was going to say that but feared lynching from the Jeep & Sportscar fanboys. Can we justifiably add the Range Rover to this list? Been in production nearly 40 years... even the ones from the 80's can handle dense jungle off-roading (as evidenced in TG's Bolivia Special).

@ted.pro: I go to school in Newark, NJ; which while it is not as bad as it once was still has its fair share of crime and trouble. At my freshman orientation we were given 4 tips for driving in Newark.

I was never a huge fan of the GT-R's styling to begin with... It's just a bit too fiddly and I always felt like the designer didn't know when to stop. This doesn't help the confused nature of the design. Oh, and voiding your warranty by using launch control kind of sealed the deal on this car for me.

Ask the people at the desk in your hotel. Most hotels have accumulated literally thousands of phone chargers and most often have the one you need.

What bugs me most about this car are the giant rear posts and the windows that swoop closed to a point. My mom's pacifica is already impossible to see out of the back of... I can't imagine how tough this is going to be.

I find the architect story hard to believe. Most architects can't afford a 15-year-old audi or saab, let alone a bugatti...

The sad thing is, I'll never see this display at the NYIAS... the Javitz center is way too small to give this much real estate to one manufacturer.

@SantaRita: British cars leak oil for two reasons: to give back to mother earth and to assure the owner that there is indeed still oil in the sump.

@Galaxius: monsieur? just... one... waffer theen meent? it is waffer theen...

Land Rovers. In fact, even these new jag engines are a killer to tradition... bring back the rover V8!

Thank you sweet jesus. I don't drive my Dad's MKS much, but when I do, I usually bring my ipod and use it with an aux-in cable instead of connecting it via usb. The problem with sync, as I see it, isn't with the multiple layers of voice commands, but with the fact that it needs to "index" your ipod every time you plug

@#c18054602: OT: Listen to Camper Van Beethoven's "The History of Utah". Its totally false but its fun to think its true...

@Mojonaut: but... but... clear lexan hood panel! I totally see your point. I'm a designer, and thus more or less demand things to look unique and cool, and vettes... well... people go WOW! when they see a lambo and say 'oh, its just a corvette' when they see a vette. Personally, I'd rather have the sleeper.

@Mojonaut: The Gallardo doesn't make me want it the way the ZR1 does, again at half the price. Maybe its just that my American blood is running particularly red today.
