It absolutely blows my mind that people are whole hog booking cruises. Did you not see what happened two months ago?!

Right? When I read that I cringed
No, I’m not surprised.
When I read that blurb, I thought: So, you’re* the one who makes my trips for groceries actual hell.
Considering how low on the scale working in retail is, are you surprised?
No one seemed to be like “get away from me” when I walked next to them. That’s what I’ve encountered at grocery stores.
This is what I don’t get. The same department stores that are going bankrupt and closing are the ones responsible for driving people away from the stores and online. Service was better, staff was actually knowledgeable about the products, and if they didn’t have something they would order it for you. Now, you’re lucky…
Well exactly. People who like to shop are going to go for the experience - picking stuff up, putting it down (X 30), trying stuff on, having coffee with your girlfriend etc etc. Since none of that is going to happen for quite a while I will have to do what the kids do... shop on line. Or not shop.
A podcast I listen to floated the idea of online stores having clothing models for every size and that would totally make shopping fun again. If you could automatically see what everything looked like with your proportions it would make the whole experience fun
This is exactly the type of analysis this series needs and I am very much here for it.
Jordan’s Hall of Fame speech is a master class in pettiness and holding grudges.
Point of order: Sasha was the youngest occupant of the White House since John-John Kennedy. Malia was the same age as Amy Carter had been when she was there.
The zoom meetings might just be a lighting issue, but my cohort is turning thirty now and all the women I know who go to a spa are getting pressured to start on injectables. They’re not that expensive to the sort of people who are already shelling out $100+ to get everything waxed or lasered every month.
Slightly related to DJ Khaled, one of the things I have learned from this quarantine: botox/injectables are far more common than I realized. People look different on FaceTime/zoom.
My biggest single issue is the kitchen island. It’s too much of the same material, and has an indent on the side for no apparent reason (looks like it’s designed for stools to go there, too, but there are no stools there--maybe they were moved for photos?). Also, the stools themselves are hella ugly.
I don’t know if Drake needs any of this, but I did learn from this article that there is a lot of money to be made off wealthy, insecure people.
For those unfamiliar with the community, this is basically what every black person tells their loved ones about their planned funeral. lol That’s why we call them “homegoings.” The only part I really dislike is when the pastor/reverend chides people for crying during the service when he/she thinks its getting too…
All of these people are terrible (except the 10 year old).
I’m really not looking forward to the day when BA gets through its backlog of previously recorded content to release!
