Except it doesn’t go all the way back through C1s. 56 to 60 had oval tail lights.

To me, old is either if it carburated, or you have to go to specialty classic junkyards for parts, because none of the usual pick n pulls and the like go back that far. I consider my ‘02 Vette to be pretty new, my ‘94 Town Car to be getting up there, but not quite “old” and my ‘73 Dart is definitely old.

A few things I haven’t seen:

I’ve seen the car in Rochester NY so I assume thats where he’s from so maybe someone up there might run into it.

I can fit my 5 piece in my C5 Vette, provided I put the kick drum in my passenger seat.

Eh, I did a summer with no air in my Dart, and my hair was down to my mid back. It isn’t that bad on some cars. The problem is some cars have terrible airflow with the windows down, and that can be a problem.

I daily a C5. I’m just about to hit 90k. It has been in the family since it had 2000 miles in 2002. The only real issue it ever had was the steering column lock.

I am still in high school, and I am the guy wearing a leather jacket cranking AC/DC in a Vette...

As I learned daily driving an $800 Dodge Dart for a year, always leave yourself an out. Try to always have 2 options to avoid the cars around should one of them do something stupid. That, and maintain a nice following distance.

He asked if anybody had a spare L-Head on instagram

Best possible is over 30. My average around town is 22. It isn’t an average of 30, but it is pretty damn good.

On a trip, I can average 28mpg in my C5 all day long, even with mountain driving.

To be fair, my grandpa used to hand wash his cars in the winter when he lived in Pittsford.

Dump in a bottle of Bars. That should take care of the cylinder head.

Hack em out with a Dremel. I may have done that for a while with a Ford wheel on my Dart.

I kind of disagree. I daily drive my Dart, and it has never left me stranded. All I did was pull it out of a junk yard, new fluids, rebuild the carb, and throw enough wiring together to get it to run/make it legal. There have been a few issues, the largest being my fuel pump, starter and my alternator going out, but

The dude just couldn’t drive stick it looks like.

Was it near the station?

Shit, better than mine haha.

Even then, I was born in ‘99. I drive an 88 Vette and a 73 Dart, and most of my friends agree that they are pretty bitchin rides. I know maybe 3 people who would buy something like this, and one of them is my mother.
