Thanks! He did a body off restoration in the late 80s, but had been driving it since 68. Right now, we have a single 500CFM carb on it, but it has a cam that is very similar to the Duntov 097. I will admit though, with the stock drums, stopping is awfully sketchy in traffic. Anyway, the Factory 5 Cobras are based off

My grandpa has a 60. Doesn’t overheat in the AZ summer after we threw a DeWitts radiator in it, doesn’t stop great, but that’s an easy fix with a $400 front disk kit. And they aren’t slouches. His was a factory dual quad making 245hp, and I bet we’re right around that with its set up right now.

While true, with disciplined drivers, it can work quite well. Look at the autobahn.

To be fair, speed doesn’t lead to more accidents. However, a difference in speed compared to those around you, both faster, and slower, can increase the risk of an accident.

I work my ass off as well. I do that partially to pay for a car.

Whats wrong with Vettes? D:

It makes a difference when school is out at 2:20, then you need to go home, get in your uniform and be to work at 3:00.

If you honestly do not see any point, I don’t know what to say. It is not feasible for everybody to just get a job closer to their home, or to live in an area that has adequate public transportation and is small enough to not require a vehicle. In much of suburban and rural America, towns are set up in a fashion that

Oh boy! Let me take the bus to work! Oh wait, my city doesn’t have one. Let me ride a bike to work! Oh wait, it is 110 degrees out and it is a half hour ride. Maybe my mom will take me? Oh wait, she’s at work. In any case, I do pay for my own insurance, gas, repairs, my car, etc.

To be fair, I don’t think I would want to be strapped into a C1 if it was wrecked. I think I would rather take my chances flying out of one.

So it definitely wasn’t a C4... Anyway, my grandpa used to do the same with me and my sister in his 60. It doesn’t have seatbelts anyway, so what difference does an extra passenger make?

Exactly. My C4 isn’t going to be worth all that much no matter what, mostly because they made so many and nobody wants one. You always hear about how you’re doing it wrong from all the purists in the club, but whatever.

It is actually a factory air car, but it sat opened up in a junk yard for 10 years, so I need to go through the whole thing. I also need to fix all the wiring for it.

Haha. I have a Vette with 190k. It is a car that should be driven, so I drive it.

I drive my Dart with no air in Phoenix everyday. You get used to it after a while.

I had a few and just got a check for $125, do I bet you didnt do too bad.

My dad was a car salesman, so probably the days I would follow him around the dealership wearing my little Saturn name tag pretending I was a car salesman.

I currently daily a ‘88 Vette, but up until earlier this month, I daily drove a 1973 Dodge Dart, so I guess me.

I’m a little late, but my Dart is from what amounts to a junkyard. It’s been great!
