I've seen the second half of Return of the King, which I quite enjoyed. I keep half-wishing to get the flu or something, so i can binge-watch movies and not feel guilty.

Buddy crime procedural! Excellent. I'll record next week's episode.

You need to get yourself some cheese and chocolate, stat! And maybe a cuckoo clock.

Wait, Karl Urban is in LOTR?! Guess I have to watch them now.

I love having the stability of our own house. We have a long-term mindset being here, we can make the space suitable to how we live. We do have to pay for repairs, but we have savings set aside for those sorts of unexpected things and it's an investment into our quality of life.

edit: whoops, I knew I shouldn't have started a sports thread. Haha on me. I forgot seattle is playing the saints right now, not the patriots.

No tips on the grad-school productivity, but I do have 2 tips. First, do other thing. (cleaning, etc). Then you've been productive in some way! And second, contradicting my first advice, put away thoughts of "productivity vs. laziness" for a few days and just relax.

Karl Urban... unph. Yes. I haven't watched the show yet, but KARL URBAN. That is all. Is it necessary to start from the beginning, or should I just jump in next week?

So, who are you all hoping to see play in the Superbowl?

Joyful Exiles is a good place to start. I think they tried to be a little too "fair" to mark, but it should give you a good idea. These are people who genuinely want reconciliation and for mark to repent and be made right, so you can imagine how they may temper their words a little. Still some powerful stuff.

o noes! i only wanted to sperm you up, not raise them up!

Yup, best appliance ever. Mine's way out of warranty and broken (sad face) so I'm having the adventure of taking it apart and sourcing parts! I'm in mourning that I don't have it to use right now. It's very hard.

And you're the only one in the will now.

    Oh that's shitty.

Why was the pumpkin pie green? Your story is so sweet! It's traditional in my family now to have Korean japchae at Thanksgiving, thanks to a friend!

The afternoon before TDay, I sustained second-degree burns on my entire forearm due to a workplace accident with a coffee maker. The coffee was about 208 F, and the grounds seared themselves into my skin. They asked me to finish my shift, and they tried to imply that I needn't need to go to the hospital and use

Ha, I had to once explain to my mom exactly WHY she shouldn't call someone a "jerk-off".

That was what I kept waiting for today, when a lady brought her cat, on a leash, into the library. The cat was in charge of the visit.

We have Kinder eggs (chocolate eggs which are hollow and have a small toy inside); they've been around for a long time. Recently new "Kinder eggs for girls!" were introduced, as if the previous non-gendered eggs were not good enough. Ridiculous!
