They wear these underwear during their mission and then for the rest of their lives. The first time this happened to me I asked him about it and he said he was excommunicated, more or less, but that the underwear had saved him from being burned in a fire so he continued to wear them.

I grew up in the city/town with the highest concentration of Mormons outside of SLC. One instance happened in Seattle though, that was a little more surprising.

Recently it seems to be a marketing term to make her more relatable to the public. Which I'm all for because I love her. But I think what has backfired slightly is the misconception in the public eye that other professional dancers are not as athletic.

It's hyper-extension, and while yes her calf muscles are firing, there is no weird stress on them.

Misty is a powerhouse. I love watching her dance, her facility is unreal. So glad she's finally getting the attention she deserves.
