What’s even better is those rappers usually go out in groups for the tours- I saw Too Short, Paperboy, Genuine and a couple others for $10 at a local bar.

One of the only benefits of getting old as a fan of ‘80s/‘90s hip-hop is getting to see your favorite childhood rappers for like $15 at shitty little clubs. I’m going to watch KRS-One in a few weeks at a place that only holds a couple hundred people. There will probably be 30 of us there and we’ll all be cranky

Be a good person. The bar is set really fucking low.

And yet anyone with half a brain who’s paid attention to football in Los Angeles could (and did) predict this.

Three years after this franchise relocates to its “home” of more than half a century and the year after the team punches a ticket to the Super Bowl... Yet, still the majority of letters come from St. Louis-era fans.

“Brenda, this party is really dying. UNLEASH THE KITTENS!!!”

This is truly one of the weirdest comments I’ve ever read in a WYTS. Your team is a game away from the Super Bowl and the old lady thinks it’s disrespectful to peek at your phone?  And you obliged?

The best part of the Rams losing was the Los Angeles Times using “LAMBS NOT RAMS” for their Monday headline and Rams Twitter losing their collective shit, demanding an apology and calling for people to unsubscribe.

Strategic kitten reserves are a staple of any good party.

I didn’t check the score at all on the way to the airport because my uber driver was an older woman who thought it was disrespectful

What I take from this is that there are far, far more St. Louis Rams fans than I had ever imagined. Full disclosure: I imagined there were none.

Fun Fact: in the halftime show, Big Boi rode a Cadillac down the field for more yards than the Rams had in the entire first half.

Wait... You’ll make $20 driving for 3 hours?

How many miles did you drive?

Multiply that by $0.575 (57.5 cents) per mile.

Your comments are a total joke. Take some Uber/Lyft rides, and if you bother to make conversation you’ll quickly find out how many drivers are doing this as a desperate attempt for income because they are otherwise unemployed.

Are you joking? Uber has promotional programs with car makers. Those aren’t promotion programs for part time workers. Ride sharing companies are too big to survive on just part time workers.

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

To be pedantic, Uber started as a way to capitalize on the available capacity of transportation companies “black cars” that primarily business people use for airport transport.

ITS A SIDE GIG - MINIMUM WAGE IS TO ENSURE YOUR PRIMARY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT PAYS YOU A MINIMUM WAGE. UBER/LYFT ARE NOT MEANT TO BE PRIMARY PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT.

^ this. This the term “gig economy” and not “self-employment”.

When I am hiring independent contractors, one thing stands out: Independent contractors can set their own price, and they aren’t required to bid on every job we open.
