I started doing yoga recently to help with stretching after work and dealing with my new commute (after walking to work for years, I now have a drive that can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour). I do it at home with free courses I found online. For me, it helps me wind down and just feels good.

I really miss Behind Closed Ovens/Kitchenette and the community that came along with it. The stories and the comments were SO good and funny, it was a great way to start the week. I’m not sure where that column ended up or if it found a home.

I left OKC for the same reason. But since they’ve changed the messaging system, I’d honestly consider using it again.

Kiehl’s handcream is pricey, but it saved me when I lived in a dry climate with hard water. I like that it doesn’t have a smell, it’s thick and won’t budge, yet absorbs well. I even used it on my legs during winter time.

I noticed that too with Sephora. If there is something from Sephora that I want, I check to see if Nordstrom’s has it online and order from them instead, because their samples are really good.

I’ve mentioned before about wanting to try Latisse to grow my eyebrows back (I tried Revitabrow recently, but I’m not seeing much of a difference).

I was late to the make-up game myself, and I’d say start with lip color. It’s low commitment, and you don’t have to spend too much since there’s so many great brands out there.
